We won allready...

We invaded, we conquered, we killed Saddam...Now we are playing police, handing out candy, and killing 15 protesters a day.

$300,000,000.oo per day to kill 15 is not a war. It is a scam to drive up stock values using build it, bomb it, build it, bomb it methods.

Its time to leave. Iraq will be fine. We will be fine.

I honestly believe that armed Americans create animosity among the youth. Imagine armed Chinese patrolling our streets, how our children would see them. Friends? Or Conquerors?

*Bin Laden is not in Iraq. Al Queda is not in Iraq. Look at the stats. We kill only 15 per day. That can be accounted for simply by us looking at how many we come in contact with daily. If we pass by 5 million Iraqis a day, chances are 15 of them will fight to expell the foreigner.

If it were foreigners here, they would need to kill allot more than 15 for every 25 million (Iraq's population). Try 1 Million per 25 million.

Once Iraq has total or near-total control of their country (which should be very soon) then that operation is complete. The ultimate goal is to destablize al-Queda by either capturing or killing Osama bin-Laden and his highest-ranking officers. If you ever hear things about invading Iraq for oil, then ask yourself this: why haven't we already taken it? why would we do that if we can simply usher in a friendlier government that will sell it to us at decent prices? If you think we're trying to take over the world, then why didn't we do that back in '91? If things are really as bad as the media says they are, then why do 80-90% of our troops WANT to go back even if they've been wounded badly? One of my cousin's friends that was in a different unit got his finger shot off, but he continues to fight for our freedom.

I'm hoping that your asking this question is in optimism that we're close; not in democrat defeatist ways.

Two choices: The best thing is we wait until the Iraqi military controls the whole country by themselves. I think we are almost halfway on that one. The other option is to declare victory, come home and have parades for the returning military people and tell the Iraqis good luck.

Ways to Win a War

1. Eliminate the enemy.
2. Eliminate the enemy's reason to fight.
3. Eliminate the enemy's ability to fight.
4. Eliminate the enemy's will to fight.

Pick just one. That's all you need.
Who is winning the "War on Terror"?
When will we be willing to do what it takes to win?

"and why do most troops support Ron Paul who wants to end the war (these are all 'facts' that I have heard)"

for one your "facts" are merely rumors generated for a
politcal campiagn.

2nd..in the bigger picture we'll never "defeat" terrorism the way
it work its too blended into the civilian structure of every country.
we can however DESTROY and harrass terrorists till they cringe in thier boots at the words "USA"...

3rdly...don't let the media convince you there wasn't a plan
there was...just nobody wanted to do it...and as we all know
NO plan survives contact with the enemy...it must adapt
or die...ours had to adapt to the fact that it wasn't gonna be
done overnight and we have to stay longer then we had wanted...

You can never stop terrorism. A more lagitimate question would be when will there Government be strong enough to run the country without our help so we can come back home.

openyoureyes, please open yours! When the Iraqi government is able to lead themselves. Honestly we can't pull out now, with no leadership in place. It will definitely go back to the way it was, or worse.
