Ignition coil. That's part of the ignition system and has nothing to do with the starter.

c A little point of history might be of interest here. At one time, way back before many of your parents were even born, the ignition coil would have been a part of the circuit so that while cranking the engine, the ignition coil would be provided with voltage so that the points could energize the coil and create spark. That was how the old Kettering ignition system worked. Now, the computer takes care of ignition.
