Or (if you are being completely honest with yourself), is it largely because of the pure dumb luck of when/where & to who you were born?

Some of it is my own efforts and some is the help of others like my parents. I've worked hard to get where I am in life. My parents are not well off but they gave me a good start in life because they raised me to be able to stand on my own two feet and be independent.

I am where I am today because I am my own master of my own destiny, I created what I wanted and how I wanted to live, all humans have the ability to do so they just haven't figured it out yet that's all, but many of us have and life is just fantastic.

O my goodness no. If it were left up to me I would be dead. I am so thankful that God has directed my steps, like He says He does. No one would have wanted to be born into my family. He has saved and delivered me from the worst life possible.
