I assume you mean "with-hold" information. I'd love to try answering, but I'm not sure which information you're referring to.

The Catholic Church holds information because she was given the authority to by Jesus Christ.

It might help if you provided examples of whatever information you feel the Church is (with?)holding. Mind you, your ability to do so would indicate the Church is not withholding info.
