Christians , Atheists .... stop?

yeah just for a moment
today has been an exeptionally bad day for bickering back and forth between you guys

so just for a moment
Christians ... put your bibles down
Atheists ... put your ... ermm ... whatever down

and assume the position
arms out stretched ...
and do that hugging thing will ya
then you can all get back to what you were doing

and a little bit of arguments too... otherwise it will be a boring place with sermons and speeches.

Religion is far to personal to be posted on here .. yet you'll get a few extremists who feel that their opinion is more important than others and set out to try and prove it .. waste of time in my opinion people will think what they like you could lead by example i mean people who are religious are supposed to be open-minded and caring often not the case but then people who pick fault in another's hopes and dreams are wrong also.

So what I'm driving at is this is neither the time or the place to have religious discussions and certainly if your mind isn't open.

For the record i am neither a religious or an atheist just annoyed :)

Basic misunderstandings: 1) Atheists are not a unified group, they have no common agenda any more than those who do not believe in crystal healing. 2) Basic misunderstandings and misrepresentation of evolution. We did not evolve from monkeys, we arose from a shared ancestor of Great Apes. 3) Believing that the words of people on Yahoo Answers are representative of a group as a whole. In short, many easy trolling tactics.

Now back to what I was doing, reading questions and answering them, playing another episode of my "Outer Limits" DVD, putting some good old rock 'n roll on my computer (how odd that sounds to me, old hag that I am), writing a review of the book I just finished, getting frustrated at the quirkiness of Yahoo! 360 (Ever spend 15 to 20 minutes writing a blog and have it just disappear?), and maybe chucking it all to play some Free Cell until my brain quiets a bit.

sometimes it's good natured bickering, and that can be a good thing.

too often it can be malicious, and that's really very sad. there is no reason for such anger on either side. we are all different, and that makes it interesting.

Thank YOU for the <>. I was beginning to miss them. I have tried my best to never be offensive toward others. I realize that at times I have offended one side or the other by attempting NOT to step on toes of others. I am a Christian even though I try not to offend others by constantly preaching "at them".
