www.military.com has a forum with stories that you can read.
stories.... for me it was learning to be more independant. and watching my marriage go stronger after every deployment. i still keep all the sweet cards and email from my hubby so maybe someday my girls can go back and read them. i'm sure there are a ton of great stories out there. good question!

Marines. Well there are times during training exercises when you get pretty close to the marines to the left and right of you. I haven't been to the sand box yet though.
