I have had 3 as pets, never eaten one though. People have Rabbits as pets and eat rabbit though. People in South America eat guinea pigs so if i was visiting South America and was offered one as long as it was slaughtered and blessed the Halal way, i dont see why not........

Do they have guinea pigs? My dad has a friend either from or from nearby Brazil, and she said that they do eat guinea pigs there, that to her it feels strange that here they are pets.

No! Are you sick? Those are pets! Sick ,sick sick ! If I had a Muslim family in our area, and I found out they ate one, I would have them arrested for crulity to animals! Why don't they just eat each other and leave the pets alone.
