It made me realize that "society" is still in its childhood. A grown up doesn't believe in childish myth.

My outlook on society did not change. Everyone has the right to believe what they want without my interference.

I can't say that it changed my outlook on society, just my perception of my own reality. I knew when I was religious that people en mass are basically stupid. (Don't misunderstand, a PERSON is smart, people are stupid panicky animals with mob-mentality). So nothing really changed other than the fact that I didn't believe in their god anymore. It was more the change of society's view of me. I became the enemy and was treated as less than scum.....

Sometimes I feel like a monster or alien, even in the family reunions. Living in a Christians (Mostly Catholic) country is not easy.

I feel free, that's the important thing.

I began to realize how ridiculous a lot of things are....like the heated arguments about homosexuality, things like that. More than ever I found myself just wanting to scream "Can't we all just get along???"

*shrugs* It didn't. I already viewed the world that way. It was a slow gradual process and didn't happen overnight. And it wasn't a devastating realization. It just felt like waking up.
