No.
I don't have to read The Philosophy and Suppositions of A Unicorn to reject it as ludicrous.

You see its ok if some don't believe it doesn't make them any less human or bad or good than anyone else. It is their own belief, no one can help what they do or don't believe. Many Christians say they believe but when asked don't really believe in a lot of the mainstream thinking. Its all in ones point of view. Its a book, and a book can be interpreted any way. What you take from it I hope is the good, the lessons, they are our history to help guide us through life that's all.

Yes, and a lot of it does make sense, I only have a problem with a literal interpretation and with insisting that outdated ideas should still be followed.
It's an amazing book, a window into the past, but we have learned so much since it's been written. We should all read it, but use common sense when interpreting what we read.

I've read the Bible. Some of it made sense, some of it was downright idiotic. I can't believe some people actually take it literally.
And when you're using the plural of a word, honey, you usually put an "s" on the end. Just letting you know.

Yup...read it...used to be a Sunday School teacher at one time.
I think IF Jesus had existed, he was a very insightful peaceful man...right along with Ghandi. I think his message of love was a good one. I just don't believe in the bible as a religious text. I don't believe in god...period.

Sure, some parts are really lovely. Love your neighbor sounds pretty good to me. If the whole Bible were like that, I'd wish I believed.
