i heard that the ps3 is losing exclusives butif iget the 360 I dont want to wait2 months to play it again if it gets the red ringof death............I dont want anyclaims of PS3 sucks!!! or 360=crap type answers and also i dont plan on getting Live for 360

If you have the money, go for the PS3. Considering that its the cheapest Blu ray player there is, even if the console dies out you willl have the player.
Also you can install Ubuntu on it and have a personal computer out of your console system.

thats only what you think... youll see in the next quarter that there will be many more exclusive ps3 games to come....
here's the thing... if you like action adventure games and japanese made games get a ps3....
if you like shooters sports games and western made games get a 360...
it really depends on what kind of gamer you are.... yes there were numerous cases of getting the red ring of death... including me... btw i have both the 360 elite and the ps3... i had to wait about 3 months to get mine back..... my ps3 had no problems whatsoever.... im not saying that 360 sucks.... its not a bad system at all... maybe i was just unlucky....
the dualschock 3 is coming with the rumble feature! so theres nothing the 360 has over the ps3 anymore... what makes that possible is the constant updates on the ps3's software its really an amazing thing... it can also fix errors in games... it actually fixed the controls for LAIR it made the sixxaxis controls much more responsive.... the update system is awesome!

ps3 is going to have more and better exclusives than 360 by the spring
if you are not planning on to get xbox live then ps3 is the one to get. ps3 games are longer because it is produced on 50gb disc. you can beat xbox games in one afternoon.
even if you were gonna get xbox live, you still would be better with a ps3

PS3, I feel it has great games, especially coming in the next month or so, and no rrod, no 150 for online with wifi. So go with Ps3
