It's called discernment. Remember, all of the books were written separately, and there were other writings too. The collection of books that we call the Bible, both Old and New, was decreed by the authority of the Bishops of the early Church. How do we know what was written back then has been faithfully preserved? The New Testament has by far the most ancient copies or partial copies of any any ancient written work in the world. There are literally thousands of preserved copies.

Honestly, I've said this before. To use the literature quotes to prove the literature is kind of silly.... It makes no sense.. Kind of like you asking "Why" and getting the answer "because I said so." What is your authority? Why is your word more powerful than mine?
I am agnostic, leaning toward the idea that the Bible is a well written piece of literature in 2 books, and several chapters... If it is all that accurate then why do some of the "Lord's Prayer" use the word trespasses, and others use the word debts..... If it was the word of God, would it not be the SAME word no matter who was writing it?
Inspired by God? If I were blindly following someone, or something, I'd give them credit for my words, hoping it would validate my work.
It is not 100% without inaccuracies, and just because Jesus lived, and Solomon lived, and Caesar lived, does not make the Bible anything more than a very good biography of people from the area.
If it is accurate it should be complete, and those people who watch the Discovery and History channels and learn about Jesus also learn that the Catholics did not repeat ALL of the texts from the Dead Sea Scrolls. Just what they decided was important...

The Bible's books are taken from old Arabic, and Hebrew text that was handed down from generations. With today's technology they are authentic, or have been.
The text was translated in Latin at first then the old english text format came along and then the King James version, and many more since then but they basically all say the same thing.
A lot was left out so this is why it is at times not chronological, we seem to jump around, but if you take it as a story of the history of mankind, remember it is recordings of what has already happened to peoples of the days it was written in.
The New Testaments are the accounts by several apostles of Jesus and of the days they spent with Him. They tell of the miracles He performed, the healings. The other books are accounts of how the Apostles continued the Work started by our Lord Jesus Christ and are mainly letters to the different regions the Apostles were in, encouraging them to stay the course and remember the mission and so on. This is why there is so much contraversy over the Bible because we now know and understand the difference a change of a word in a sentence can change the meaning of what was really written in Hebrew, then also from latin to english and old english to today's english.

There is an insurmountable amount of evidence that the bible was written by bards, poets and alike in around 325 AD after the first council of Nicea where cardinals and bishops of the day congregated to vote on the divinity of jesus (thats right, he was human before that) and the virginity of his mum (she loved the man meat before that). Once that had been ratified, the congregation ordered the drafting of a holy doctrine from several thousand writers of the day. The good ones were kept, the crap ones striken.
The point is though that the people writing the books of the bible were story tellers. They were given a mythical person to write about and went nuts... eventually they came out with the bible.

The bible is approximately 40% prophecy.
There are nearly 8,000 verses of prophecy in the bible.
Of those nearly 8,000 verses, 90% of them have come to pass with excruciating accuracy.
The remaining 10% are either in the works now, or will be coming to pass soon.
Only God can tell our entire trajectory of history from the beginning to the end. And God has not been wrong yet.
God's prophetic program has proven to be precise and exact.
Martyr means 'witness", but it is associated with being tortured to death.
Early Christian martyr/witnesses were tortured to death for giving true witness to the TRUTH they witnessed!
If the Bible was made up, they would have renounced their witness for Christ to save their lives.
They proved the new testament by their eye witness.
The old testament is proven by the faithful copying by hand of those Scriptures over the centuries!
Beginning with eye witnesses to the crossing of the desert, the Red Sea and the River Jordan.
The bible was written by 40 men, chosen by God to write it. It was written over a period of 1,500 years.
Those 40 men who wrote were on 3 separate continents, and were all writing the same thing, at the same time.

I am writing a book on that right now. I do not believe in God. It is very possible that just one person made up the documents and the stories back then. The bible I believe is all one lie.

Because all the stories told by the different people compliment each other. The New Testament was written by more than the 12 disiples of Christ so they just didnt get together and make up a story. Apostle Paul was not liked by the original 12 because of all the problems he had caused them before. Paul didn't just find Christ totally on his own. He had to be ministered to by the others

Exactly!!!
I've read the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Satanic Bible, the Qur'an, and plenty of other religious texts...none "spoke" to me, or seemed divinely inspired...just man's words written by man for other men to believe and follow. I have absolutely no reason to believe any one book out of the bunch is anything more than that.

Only your intuition gives you the hour right for your own personal way.
Because the spirit is the only alive bond towards the Life
The spirit is expressed by the intuition.
The brain is perishable and terrestrial and expresses itself by intellect (feeling, instinct, emotion)
