He was my first love and I'm pretty sure he hates me, though my friends say they doubt that, and it hurts to look at them,. Should I just toss them?

You don't HAVE to toss them but it sounds like you should definately put them away somewhere out of site...& hopefully that will get him out of your mind for a little bit.

Don't do anything rash by destroying the photos just yet. There will come a time when it doesn't hurt to look at them, and in fact you will smile when you see them. You'll only remember the good times & what made him your first love.

Until then put them away so you can move forward. You can't reminisce until it's in the past so try to let go emotionally, you will still have feelings for him even if you toss the photos, it's those feelings you need to reconcile.

Good luck.

Keep only one, and when the true love of your life comes along, toss the one.

No, unless they were mostly bad memories. If they were a lot of good memories just box them up and put them up in the closet. Hold on to some of the memories. . . they're your past.

No, don't throw them away....PUT THEM AWAY.
Don't look at them, just stash them somewhere and someday you'll be glad you kept them.

All strong emotions eventually pass and it all becomes a memory. It's good to have memories.
