My mother's employer is sending home its american employee's for lack of work but is still hiring illegal mexicans every day. Where can I report this. I have tried the Better Business Bureau but they state that they do not deal with discrimination or hiring practices. Not only is this company hiring illegal mexicans , it is also paying them $3 more an hour than the american workers. Please give me your advise on what to do. thank you

No this is not a fake story and no i am not trying to get an illegal immigrant deported. one lady had it right... the mexicans are not offered any benefits because they dont need them. In Tn where I live illegal immigrants can get food stamps and free health insurance so they dont need it from the company. you know Im just trying to help my mother here. she is working her butt off for 7 bucks an hour. and the mexicans can come and go as they please never getting penilized or fired for missing work. but they make 10 bucks an hour this is in a shirt factory mind you. this is just ****** up

You report them to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Call 1-866-347-2423 and tell them about this. Let me know if it does anything, as I often wonder...

Depends. Do you like any of your co-workers? Because they will be out of here if you call INS. Do you like your job? The place will be shut down so you won't have one anymore and you don't get any type of benefits when they close if you call the State Comptroller. Just so you know if the workers you have a problem with are family members, they are not held to the same standards as other employees. Where is this company? What type of company is it? Are the workers family? Are the workers being hired as regular workers or contractors? Contractors can charge whatever they want. There are different rules for each area. Please leave more specific details. Additional Details: Well, the person that is working under another persons name, that can be reported to the State Comptroller. This should reflect on the person, and not the company, so that you do not lose your job. I think you have to have proof though in order for immediate action to be taken. The guy that's getting paid under the table, like I said, he could be considered a contractor (very easily considered as such if they are related to the owners) and it would be tough to prove that the guy even works there. Your best bet would be to take the story to a local newspaper and ask them to research the matter for you. A new journalist would probably love to help you out, or at least sit down with, and have an awesome story to add to their portfolio. They may be willing to do the background work necessary and/or undercover work needed to prove your accusations.

i was not quite sure where exactly to report but only to immigration..
however, through other's answers, i guess ICE sounds right!
well, i heard if you report(help) ICE RE illegal immigrants, you'll get some kinda paid (like $ few hundreds per person).
this is just a rumor though..
but i know for sure, if the immigration found out the employer hires the illegal immigrants, he/she has to close the business for certain amount of time(i think 6mon).. then get a penalty and something like that...
Of course, the workers will be deported!!

I'd call the State Police and ask (them) to refer it to ICE!
They probably already have a working relationship with ICE.
It is a Federal Felony to hire an illegal alien. (U.S. CODE, Title 8, Chapter 12)
Also, go to an investigative reporter on a local Newspaper!

Well some say its not possible.....but it just may be........maybe illegal immigrants are not going to get any benefits and that saves the company money in long run........
