Hello!
We all love to spoil our pets but sometimes we get carried away and can "Kill them with Kindness"!
All food that dogs eat should have a minimum content of 30% Protein and less than 6% carbohydrates. Excess carbs for a dog can lead to tooth rot, diabetes and kidney failure later in life.
While there is no problem with spoiling dogs, just spend a little more thought for the food they are eating - minimise bread, pasta and rice to almost nothing.
I make my dogs dinner, I use Premium Mince meat from the butcher, with a small teaspoon of garlic (use garlic sparingly), a few handfuls of good veges and sometimes add pasta sauce without spices or low salt gravy to add some flavour. This reduces any tooth decay and gives my dogs better breath and keeps them healthy!
Hope this helps
Kaz

Is their regular diet human food? No they should have a balanced do g food. No giving them kisses is your choice. Anyone that says you're being too nice is probably not a dog person.

So long as you are also training them to their status in your "pack"....and hopefully leash training, etc....there's nothing wrong with spoiling them. Shoot, why have them if you can't love on them? But, I also feel there should be respect. You are the master, they are the dogs. In my house, my dogs get the occasional people food handout. But, it's on my terms. Until that time they sit respectfully a decent distance away from the table. They are trained, yet they also get to go along on road trips, campouts get lots of play time.... I consider them to be spoiled as well.

If you don’t set strict rules for your dog to follow then you are spoiling your dog. If you want a well balance dog then you have to stop treating your dog like a human. Make your dog work for everything he finds rewarding, food, play, affection, relief and relaxation. Let your dog be a dog and he will be happier.

Can never give too much love, but be careful not to give too much people food. Could make them sick, not to mention fat.
I have 4 dogs and love all those kisses.

a diet consisting solely of "human food" is not really good for dogs. Get them some high quality dry food. As for the kissing, well I would never kiss anything that can lick it's own . . . .!

No way. You're not spoiling them unless they jump up onto your counters and table and get the people food themselves or something. Otherwise, showing them affection won't spoil them.

Theres no such thing as too much love but too much human food can make them sick. ( like puking on your floor sick)

But kissing them alot is fine.
