Revelation 14
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Actually, most Satanists are rather intelligent; Alistair Crowley was considered a genius.

One has to remember that Satan was God's creation, because without evil; without Satan, there is no understanding of good and no need to reach out for salvation. If evil doesn't exist, how do you know what good is; how can you strive for heaven?

First lets get a couple things clear:

1. There is no historical basis for Satanism. It was a fantasy used to scare people in medieval times, and only became a religion in the 20th century.

2. Satanism, as a religion, has nothing to do with the Biblical figure of the Devil. Satanists, in an ironic twist, do not worship Satan, and as far as i can tell only chose the term Satanist to describe themselves to put Christians in a twist.

With all that cleared up, no, I don't think you have to be stupid to be a Satanist, but I'd say if you are, you're probably in high school and/or some kind of jerk.

No, you just have to be totally stupid to believe in that superstitious nonsense about wrathful supernatural beings who are going to "punish" you with "fire and brimstone".
How on Earth people in a modern society can be so primitive-minded as to actually believe in that nonsense is beyond me.

I would be scared to death to be one. Satan is the epitome of evil, deception and above all vileness. I am so thankful that I chose to serve Christ. God bless.
