area of a circle is 3.14r^2

take half the diameter and you get the radius(r)
then do 3.14 x 5 squared

the portion of a circle is Pi cases the radius squared. Pi = 3.14 plus a set of digits you do no longer choose for this concern the radius is 0.5 the diameter, or as a consequence 5 inches 5 squared is 25 so the section is 3.14 cases 25 or seventy 8.5

The equation for area of a circle is A=pie r². Pie equals about 3.14. If the diameter is 10in then the radius is 5 in.

So A= (3.14)(5²)
Now just solve the equation...

area= (pi)r squared

so take half the diameter to get the radius which is 5 inches

then do pi5 squared

radius = 5 inches, so piX25=your answer. I don't have a calculator right now, but the equasion for the area of a circle is piXr(squared)

This is sums, children's stuff, not even mathematics, never mind engineering.

There are no stupid questions, but there sure are a lot of curious stupid people.
