You don't say why you want to kill yourself. There are many reasons a person can become suicidal. I know it's very very hard to not want to kill yourself at times, but and I think this is a bible quote: "And this too shall pass."
Please look at the link I am sending to you. I have been pretty consistently suicidal for years. My cause is Major Depression. So, I know my reason is clinical......but, it feels like Gollum lives within me most of the time. He tells me I'm worthless while others tell me depression is not an illness. I don't care what you call it......it's a living hell.
Of course, it's not always a matter of being depressed that can cause suicidal feelings. If you have done something that is wrong you may fear the consequences of your actions. But, that can be fixed too. Consequences pass......death is final. Or perhaps it's low self-esteem....or the way you perceive the way people treat you. There are answers to all these things. Everything can't be fixed in a heartbeat. It may take work on your part, but there is help out there for you.
Talking to someone who understands your pain can be helpful. If you would like to write to me my email address is BrazenStarlite@aol.com. If you do write to me, saying you would like to talk, I will gladly call you and listen with my heart. Perhaps between the two of us we can come up with a far better alternative. Please do email me. I'll be checking my email from time to time looking for something from you. In the mean time I send you good thoughts and prayers for clear thinking and strength.
Susan

life always has its ups and downs but this is a permanent answer to a temporary problem. if you get into a good counciling place or go and talk to a member of a church, pastor or someone i am sure they can help you see options you have overlooked or not even thought about. nothing in life could possibly be that bad. i am still trying to deal with my best friend committing suicide (without reaching out to me) 24 years ago or longer. this hurts all the people around you. be smart get this worked out. you will be glad u did

Well, you have spent alot of time thinking about death....how about spending equal time thinking about living.
Most people at one time or another plans suicide....but, what if all your dreams come true as the years go by. Change what is wrong with you....change what is making you unhappy....Do something other than suicide. Suicidal thoughts can also be the beginning of a new life....the thoughts are telling you that you need a change.....postpone it for a couple of weeks and see if life changes.

Get help.. also think seriously if this is what you want to do, cause I think if you are asking about how to do it effectively, you really don't want to do it.
Also, think of how it will affect the people around you who have to pick up the pieces after you go through with it. It is not really fair on them.
Seek help - there is always a way out of the darkness.

Oh, sweetheart, don't do it! I know how you feel! I was severly depressed for a whole summer but it got better. I didn't think it would but it did.
Don't give up! God has a plan for your life! He brought you this far. You need to reach out and tell some people how you're feeling. Go to a church in your area or a counselor at school or in your town. As you share your feelings, you'll feel better and hope will return to your heart.
I know it's tough! But there's a life that's worth living. You just can't see it right now.

Call a friend or your parents for help before doing anything rash. If you are a friendless orphan, call a minister--any minister. Nothing is so great a problem that you can't overcome it with help from someone who cares about you.
Watch the movie It's A Wonderful Life.

bad idea. i had a friend who overdosed and went into a coma.
also another friend threw himself in front of a car right in front of me. it was the most horrible experience i ever had. i just saw him laying in the street and bleeding and having seizures. i was hysterical.
please don't. talk to a doctor, get some help, i know it sounds stupid, i've been in the same position you're in before and its not worth it.
