Well i am a Muslim living in a Muslim country .. yes i admit some Muslim countries make it so difficult to practice our normal rights as human, some Muslims intend to move to the west for many reasons economically, educationally, spiritually some countries don't give them freedom in practicing Islam properly even though they are Arab countries and last Democracy is the key..i think ...

I'm a Muslim so I'm not a racist all man kind are equal but you can say the same about African Americans the only difference is the religion and all those Irish and Indian far easterners don't they move into your country to get a better opportunity in life.

As Salaam to you all, The questioner has hit the nail on the head, in that those Muslim's who have lost their faith, don't pray and live in the West, have become so westernised that they do not realise that faith is a 24/7 way of life. They live like Westerners, act like them so much that you would not be able to tell them apart. You are whom you are and it appears that you only have a label which came from your parents but what the heck, you are a new breed, a new believer in freedom of expression. You say you believe in Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) but if you did you would pray and act accordingly as a Muslim. Here endeth the lesson, for you have to be your own judge of what you do and say. I live in England but really wish that I could live somewhere else but unfortunately there is nowhere else to go, where I could live my faith in the way that I wish to. EDIT: Oh by the way the UK is more Islamic than you would think, due to free medical care, education and even handouts when you cannot work, so where else in this world would you get such treatment? EDIT: Islam is a way of life, you follow it or you do not. Now that I am retired, I may think more about my faith but while at work and play I always kept thinking about my faith and was this or that right or wrong. What is it about faith that we cannot do it 24/7, except when we are alseep? Wa Salaam Mahmood

Who says we hate freedom and democracy? Boy are you wrong. We don't hate the west otherwise would we really be here? We hate the fact the west doesn't just get the fact that all of its values are not relevant to all cultures and religions. So what if we want to cover our head, and eat a specific type of meat and pray 5 times a day. Whats it doing to you? Alot of the west's values clash with Islam and muslims will choose islam over that. We live here because alot of us are born here and we aren't moving just because people are gonna be ignorant to understand anything sorry.

We can move where ever we want. Just because some Muslims live in the west, doesn't mean we approve that way of life. Who says we hate freedom, democracy..oh wait I forgot, you get all you "facts" from watching all that biased T.V. tsk tsk. By the way, why are you brining up religion in this?? Countries that arnt run by democracy and have no freedom of speech, religion etc are all laws. So it's cultural. Not all Arabs are Muslim. Be more informed before you type.

Easy...some just happen to be born here and feel at home here, I cannot answer for those that are only JUST newly arriving here in this country. The ones that are born here, some arent accepted in their own mother countries for the simple reason that they're British and have been brought up with a different lifestyle, born into another culture (British), different outlook in life, alot more assertive.

To be honest I have still YET to come across a Muslim person who actually think that way which you have just said. Have you ever THOUGHT of asking a Muslim person yourself face to face instead of sticking this question on here and waiting for a lunatic to answer it?????

One just MIGHT be surprised !!!!!

Not all Muslims hate our way of life. I have several Muslim friends who are very happy to embrace it, even while practicing their faith.

Admittedly, there is a minority who don't feel that way and would like to see Sharia Law imposed on the west, but I very much doubt that it will happen anytime soon.

Actually, all the Muslims I know love our freedoms and opportunities. The ones who don't like them don't want to move here.
