Don't mess with success! :) My advice is to not worry and go with what you have. I took off about 45 lbs years ago and now have to say it was more work than it was worth. I do feel better but really punished myself to lose that much weight :(

Visit your local library or Blockbuster and pick up a few different
videos so you can see what it is out there now. There are so many different types of exercises and exercise videos available now that you may just want to see what may fit you.

I like the Firm's new program Transfirmation. It has the cd's along with light weights to help strenghten and tighten muscles.

The firm is known for their quality and each of their programs start off with a warm up stretch and ends with a cool down stretch ( which helps to avoid injury or muscle strain). With the Firm there are no fancy dance steps to learn and they have been creating exercise videos for around 20's years so they know what works and what doesn't.

I am aware of one good one for the abdominal region. You sit on the floor and place your hands, palm down on each side of you. You then raise your whole midsection upward, so all your weight is supported between your arms and the heels of your feet. You resemble an inclined plane. This is a good exercise for your abdominal muscles. You should hold the position for five counts and go back down for a few counts, and then repeat. It really firms up the tummy muscles. We don't use these muscles to the extent we do when we are exercising.

Walking is a fine exercise, but I have arthritis in my back. So what I do is walk in an indoor pool. There is no impact to worry about because you weigh much less in the water, I`ve lost 60 # so far. Lots of luck.

Start first with just plain walking.
Now I should follow my own advice.
