With the Bush Administration?

Pretty much everyone disagrees with that inept bunch of slow-witted pseudopatriots.

Did you hear Bush's comment yesterday to Musharraf?
-------------------------
U.S. President George Bush says he bluntly told Pakistani leader Gen. Pervez Musharraf Wednesday that he must hold promised parliamentary elections.

Bush also said he told Musharraf to leave the military if he wants to continue leading the country.

"You can't be the president and the head of the military at the same time," Bush said.
-------------------------

Yeah, uh, right. I guess he oughta know, huh?

We are not unlike any other person(s). We get up and go to work just like any other person. We put one shoe on at a time and we have a normal life , outside of what the religious communities consider wrong and being a none believer. Yes I do have issues with the way the government handles alot of things. As would any other person christian, Muslim, Atheist, Hindu or Buddhist..........No different than you.........

I'm a libertarian. I disagree with most (but not all) government.

While I am both an atheist and a libertarian, and the two inform each other, holding one opinion does not require the other. Some libertarians are evangelical get-the-government-out-of-our-religion types, and some atheists are statist fascists. Basically, I want both of us to have the right to worship or not worship, and the right for me not to pay for your god's social agenda.

I disagree with individual decisions of pretty much every govt on earth. I also agree with some decesions of almost every govt on earth. Strangely the hardcore religious right in the us and the fanatics in Iran and Iraq have more in common than they disagree on. they both believe religion should influence secular law. that abortions and homosexuality should be outlawed. That Gods word should be taught in schools along with abstinence only and no mention of evolution. I don't understand why we are at war with so much in common....

Well, seeing as religion and government are two separate entities, I would say no. But I do disagree with the current administration.

When it endorses religion, yes. The government should be neutral - protecting EVERYONE"S right to their religious beliefs or choice to not have any.

When the gov. endorses any one religion, or just religion in general over the rights of people to not be religious, it is wrong. In God we trust on our money, officially endorsed prayers in public schools or at their events, and oaths to God to serve on juries or in office are an abrogation of the constitution.

That's wrong.

Not this atheist. But I prefer to live in a government that has seperation of church and state, and is based on rational, democratic ideals, rather than any form of irrational totalitarian dogma.

It's spelled athEIst.

I disagree with certain governmental practices, but a democracy (that's slightly corrupt) is alot more favourable than a wholly corrupt facist regime.

Man, I love voting.

What? Religion isn't used purely as a means of control. What the hell are you talking about?

And for what it is worth, far more a problem than "control" is "control by inappropriately selected people" ie. not democracy.
