So I am 15....I grew up in an omish community. But I went out of the omish community at age 7. I live with my aunt and uncle and my cousins. I love this world. But my parents want me back to the community. I don't want to go back. But I don't wanna grow up wothout my parents. I love highschool and internet and shopping and my boyfriend. I will never fit back in with the amish world. I have already turned into an Abercrombie wearing, Starbucks loving girl. I love my boyfriend. And I don't want to say goodbye. Should I stay here or go back?

You have a place to stay who you must be as close to as your parents by now, I know they can't replace them but the bonding between your aunt and uncle and cousins must feel more like siblings.

It sounds to me like you are searching your heart to be able to accomplish living in the lifestyle you have grown accustomed to and still have the approval and condonment of your parents. This may not be possible for your parents, because of their beliefs, but I know one thing, once a parent always a parent, they will always love you.

I'm sure you know all about the importance of being truly honest with yourself, trust your feelings, you don't have to forget the time you spent and lessons learned from your parents, and if you are allowed you can visit often because it sounds to me like you already know what you want. You are just torn at the thought of hurting or going against your parent's wishes, since the expectation always was that you would return?

Good luck and don't give up your dreams, parents don't always understand their children but they always want what is best for them and try to support their cause, and they always love them.

You tell me.........It seems like you want to stay here, so go ahead! It won't be very easy to go back to the Omish Country, since you are an Abercrombie wearing, Starbuck's drinking girl. Talk to your aunt, uncle, mom, dad, and boyfriend. It's your choice, but I think you should stay here. I don't think you will be comfortable there anymore.

Good Luck! <3 <3 <3

I know it's hard not to have your parents in your life but if your hsppy beyond that then you should stay. Its your life and you have to be able to live it in a way that you'd be able to enjoy. Good Luck. You'll find your way whether it is through this or through your own thoughts and wisdom.
