Sorry, that's kind of an inside joke. I'm an old Bored of the Ringer, and one of my job responsibilities is dealing with the bad dog situations that the other workers are no longer willing to work with. So, that's what I usually call out as I'm rattling the fence to see what kind of dogs and how many there are in the yard.

I don't mean to be counter to the spirit of the question, but most "actively dying" people today are heavily sedated as they move through the death process. Last words are really a thing of the past; today the best you can hope for is
" ....hkhkhkhkhkhkhkhkh" - the dry, raspy sound known as the death rattle, which is the last sound the body often emanates before the final breath.
