hes sorta on the brat side.how do i tell my gfriend that we need to work on his brattyness without hurting her feelings?

You can't.
She will do one of 3 things:
1. Agree with you and decide to do something about it,
2.Get hurt and think you are picking on her baby boy because you need an excuse to dump her
3.The most likely she will go ballistic make excuses for him and let you know in NO uncertain terms he has the right to behave like that in his OWN house and walk all over YOU.
This is why when I was dating, I NEVER would date a woman who had kids who did not respect and obey her(she has to make them do that).
I also learned from a bad experience that it is NEVER wise to shack up before finding out ALL of the problems shack ups have FIRST and by then you know enough to either dump or marry them.
