If you have a membership at Costco you can get great prices on flowers there - 2 dozen roses are $14, gerbera daisies are $8 a bunch - hydrangeas $8 bunch - hand tied with a ribbon of your color scheme and have your bridesmaids help you make them. You can do it - and you'll save lots of $$$!

I would go with calla lillies. They are simple, elegant and inexpensive. You don't need a lot to make a statement. For my reception, I had a tall vase with 5 white calla lillies and a few strands of bear grass. Then I sprinkled red rose pedals at the base of each vase. Total cost per table: $10, including the vase. I got a TON of compliments.

It depends on your style but gerbera daisies are nice and relatively cheap. Hydrangea can also be very affordable. Make an appointment with some florists and talk it over with them. You don't have to commit to them, just get a consultation and see what you can learn.

Lillies, roses, carnations, are all reasonable choices. Congrats.

Ask all your neighbors to let you pick their roses.
