I would avoid red in Feburary....its SO cheeseball for that month. Like if you slapped hearts and cupids everywhere. Just screams Hallmark card from the drugstore.

I ALWAYS caution brides against pink. Women may love it....but guys usually hate it. It's half his wedding too so don't make the poor groom (and male guests) miserable by sticking them in the Barbie Dreamhouse Reception. Save the pink for the shower and the bachelorette.

When planning a Feb. wedding you should also keep in mind that flower prices are going to be almost 4 times as much as they would be in any other month. Anytime you get close to a big flower holiday like Valentines, Mother's day, etc. you are going to be paying a premium. And, florists will be absolutely swamped so they won't be able to concentrate on your wedding as much which means you may not get your first choices and will lack that "extra touch" they may be able to give with less going on. Venues might be slightly more as well. Schools and other orginizations are throwing their dances for V-day.

Ice Blue with a dark blue and/or you could do a snow flake theme. My mother got married in February and she had rabbit fur covered muffs with roses on them it was beautiful.
