sorry Im an english learner. Dont just think my question is stupid. I found many native english speaker like to put a slash to 7? Do u do the same thing? And why?

Many people do. I have heard it is a continental european way of writing the 7 - they write a 1 with an upstroke attached which could then be mistaken for a 7

I don't do that, and I have always spoken english. It just makes the difference between a 1 and 7 more apparent.
