i am taking a program with them i like it .they sound like they are pretty credible .they dont have to bad of a rep with the bbb.some of the other schools have more reports on them than they do.

They are accredited by the DETC (not as valid as if they were accredited by a regional accreditor) but many of their courses have been evaluated by the ACE and will transfer to colleges that accept ACE evaluation for credit.

They are legitimate and among the DL trade schools are probably one of the better schools.

If you want a degree that will transfer to a 4-year college then there are much better options out there but for a trade/vocational credential, they are adequate.

Penn Foster is a relatively new name for what used to be Thomson Education Direct and before that ICS (International Correspondence School), a pioneer in "get your diploma at home" TV commercials (hosted by Sally Struthers).
