This is a very good question, i often wonder do we just become nothing, i bloody well hope not..!! i hope they got hot chicks in heaven!

The Bible says that the day of ones death is better than the day of ones birth. I think that we will never be as alive as when this body gives up the spirit in it. To be away from the body is to be home with the Lord. I am looking forward to it. I think we will know we are on our way home to meet the Lord! We will be very aware of everything!

From my experiences,visual and otherwise with some departed,it seems some know and accept it and others are confused and it takes a while to catch on.Believe me! I was not looking for those experiences!(Dead relatives)

I was dead for a few minutes, a few years ago, it was great. I remember bumping into all sorts of happy creatures after ascending from my body. All of them were very helpful and told me to stay with my body as I was going back.
I was eventually resusitated and now have a few 'extra sensory' abilities, so to speak.

Yes...and I don't believe knowing is only a function of the brain. I think the soul can know too.
