The Bauer 25 ACP Stainless Steel, 2 1/2",6 Shot Semi-Automatic Pistol was produced between 1972-1984. Although it fired the low powered 25 ACP bullet. It was an "Exact" scale copy of the famous Baby Browning 25 ACP Pistol, The Bauer however, was made of the highest quality Stainless Steel. Not only was this an excellent quality firearm but it was the only semi-automatic version of a Vest Pocket Baby Browning ever produced.
With all due respect any of you that think this gun is a "junker" or "pot metal gun" have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about..It failed ONLY because of it's weak caliber, yet had a true following of U.S. Police Officers who owned this gun as an emergency "back up" "pocket" weapon in the 70's and 80's....
Parts for these Classic firearms are very hard to find, but magazines are still in fact available (See Below) In 95-100% condition the firearms are worth up to $150 on todays market.
Not a big fan of ANY 25 ACP per sea myself, BUT I own two of these N.I.B myself and they will remain in my collection.
The only people that would bad mouth this firearm are those people that have never seen, owned or handled one and those with no knowledge that this firearm ever existed.......

The Bauer 25 acp is worth from $70 in 60% condition to as much as $150 in like new condition according to my Blue Book of Gun Values. These are retail values and the trade in or wholesale value is about 1/2 to 2/3 this amount.
The .25 acp is a very low power gun and most guns of this caliber don't even have sights on them. Most are probably used as personal defense guns but in that capacity they are almost totally worthless. They have very little knock down power. About all they will do is to piss off a bad guy. Oh, he may eventually die but he will most likely get to you and injure or kill you before dieing. If you want to use it for personal defense, just put it in a sock and hit the bad guy over the head with it.
I've never owned one. Never had any use for a piece of junk. I suspect that if you can hit the side of a barn from inside you will be doing well with it.
As long as you have it, you might as well keep it unless you can find a sucker to take it off your hands. If you do luck out and find that sucker, take the money and go buy a decent gun. After all, your life may depend on it in an emergency. If you have a cheap life, carry a cheap gun.

It's worth about $150-200.
http://www.triplek.com/Pages/Magazines/index.cfm/gun_magazine_detail/621 your magazine.
It's used for deep cover situations where nothing else can get by without being found out. It's a heck of a lot better than nothing. A LOT of police officers used to carry them back when there was nothing else. Those (the Baby Browning and clones) and Ravens were actually well thought of before the "experts" declared them to be junk.
Today, you can get more for that Bauer than you can for many older Smith and Wessons. That should tell you something.

A clip is going to cost you more than the gun is worth. They run about $85.00ea. It isn't worth much but you can get a good idea by going to Gunbroker.com or Auctionarms.com and seeing what others are asking for them.
Good luck.
