Make sure that it isn't on too tight, also make sure that you are cleaning them regularly, and twisting them too. It's probably an infection, use some antibiotic ointment on it tonight.

Make sure that you clean your earrings EVERY DAY!! That is SO important. Dont play with them that much. If it starts to hust a lot, you should take out the earring and leave it out for a few hours, then clean you ear and the earring and then put it back in. If EVERYTHING gets worse, i would take out the earring and let the hole close. Then go and get it repierced. But only do that if it is super bad.

You need to clean them more often. While you have the infection, turn the earrings and clean them every two hours. If you take the earring out while it is infected, the hole will grow back together. Just keep them clean, disinfected and turned frequently.

Clean it with sea salt soaks twice a day, dont touch them, rotate them, play with them, etc. Make sure your hands are clean, and keep the current jewelry in.

Sea salt soaks:

NO Neosporn, sea salt & warm water, or antibacterial soap and warm water only.

Yes it is infected. I would get to a Doctor ASAP. I doubt it could cause you any serious harm, but could deform your ear for life!
