I swear, working for a retail company, people continue to think they never pay taxes online in GA like at Dell, BestBuy, WalMart, Amazon. I know Delaware has no sales tax, but what are these people thinking down here in GA? Sales tax all depends on your zip code or whatever local govt laws in that state.....frustrating isn't it?

Need to add, why are people so ignorant in the ATL, suburb, (not hillbilly area's, don't mean to be stereotypical).

At amazon.com they probably don't, but they would at Walmart or bestbuy. If the company selling to you has a physical presence in your state, then their online arms charge sales tax in that state, otherwise they don't. That's why people in most states don't pay sales tax to amazon.com but do on the same book at barnesandnoble.com
