Slow chat rooms with OS X?

When I go into a chat room it's very slow, is there a fix for it? I have a G5 quad core with 4GB of ram and 5 raptor X hard drives, so speed is not an issue.

The slowness is probably a result of your internet connection. More people using it = slower speed.

or the chat room site is slow itself.

Try a different browser, some are faster than others for specific web tasks.
