I've been reading up on the the adapter that allows you to transfer PS2 and One game saves onto the PS3 hard drive. My question is couldn't I technically use My PS2 AR Max Drive Disc on my PS2 to transfer my game saves to my PSP hard drive/memory card and then use the USB transfer cord to upload the saves onto the PS3?

I'm not sure about using a PS2 AR Max Drive Disc to transfer the files on the PS3, I don't know if that can even be used with the PS3.

I'm pretty sure that you have to use the Memory Card Adapter because the Memory Card Adapter makes an Internal Memory card of a PS1 or PS2 memory card on the PS3's hard drive.

The Memory Card adapter just costs $15.00, but you will basically use it just one time to transfer all of your PS1 games and PS2 games from the memory card to the PS3.
