Debate: That boys are better than girls. Please help!?

Question

I'm doing a debate and the topic is that boys are better than girls. has anyone got any ideas on what my team can say?
by the way my team is affirmative which means (for anyone who dosnt know) that i agree with the topic.

I personally dont agree with the topic either but its a debate and whether or not i agree with the topic has nothing to do with it.

Psychological testing has shown that men tend to be more rational than women, relying more on logic and less on emotion. They are more effective at abstract reasoning and visualization in three dimensions, both important abilities for dealing with 21st century information technology. They also tend to be physically more muscular, especially in the arms and upper body.

Of course, that isn't the entire story. The fact is, women, while less efficient at logic, still think faster than men and as such are in fact better at certain kinds of intellectual problems and puzzles, especially those involving speed. Their bodies are also more well-developed in the hips and legs than mens' bodies, and because they have two X chromosomes they are less likely to be born with genetic defects and have more resistance to diseases and other health problems (which also leads to women having a longer average lifespan than men in most parts of the world). But of course, if you're defending the 'guys are better' position, you don't want to mention any of this. ;)

Well, I'd rather kiss a girl, over kissin' a dude, ew. But no, girls are better than guys, it's like guys were GOD's prototype and women were the production model*.

Someone said that men are better at thinking in 3D, most studies (that I know of anyway) suggest that men have a more science oriented mind set; men have a better ability to manipulate physical things mentally. So, yeah, we are more "sciency", if that's a word. lol.

I don't mean to be degrading or sexiest, but from a nature stand point the male is mean to protect the Female and offspring and if nothing else get her pregnant. Women are more emotional (or so some claim, I think it's bogus, just depends if those emotions are displayed, in men they usually arn't, but they still r there.

Oh and "lizzie anne" again I'm not being sexist (I don't know why anyone would be, I love women, why would I insult them?) But naturally men are better at Science and Women are better at literature, remember this has exceptions. Most modern inventions from everything from medicine to computers were invent by men. Unfortunately this was mostly because bas*ard men suppressed them and women didn't get a chance.

Some one was talking about girls having it harder than guys and this isn't true: if you get in an argument with another dude it can end up in a broken nose, not a few hairs pulled out. Women don't have to deal with bo*ers. We also have to work out like carzy; trust me, there are things I'd rather be doing over push-ups, crunches and lifting weights

men in this world think they are better then women or boys better then girls which is not true. God created us all equal no matter what. Just because they at times may be stronger as far as lifting something heavey does not mean that for one second they are better then we are as women.
Men need to wake up and realize this for once in their life and realize that women are very kind warm loving humanbeings.
This is the best reponse i have to your question and remember dont ever let a man or young boy tell you he is better then you are cause that is his own insecurity.

I would be different and go with a speech on how nobody should be considered better than anybody... You will stand out, and if you have good points, people will like your debate, and you will win.

Because really, nobody is better than anybody...

And I really hope this isn't for school, although it probably is, because whatever teacher gave it to you should be fired. That is the most discriminating, low, most ridiculous topic I have ever heard of.

Gender has absoultly nothing to do with the ability to think.
Girls and guys are equally intellegent to begin with.
How fast they interpret things, well, that's another story.
Although I stronly believe that girls are flat out smarter than guys, there is really no statistical way to prove that.
Each individual, sex aside, learns at their own pace.

BUT, there are statistics that show that girls tend to pick up things faster than guys.

boys are stronger physically
and are better in math
they need less money spent on them for clothes, trinkets and toys
boys are safer - you don't have to worry about one getting pregnant and you worry less about him being attacked on a street or kidnapped or raped

i feel bad for u considering wut ur going for isnt true. i could think of a million things against it cuz i hate ppl who think thats true...soo i can't realy think of stuff to say for the guys..i guess guys r stronger, usually more physically fit, grow bigger, and yea im not much help. if it was the other way around ic ould help loads!
