so... first of all, i am born to Jewish parents yes, but im not that much of a believer.
for the ridiculous answers that said that Christianity is somewhat like Judaism but not like Islam, and that messianics are Jews i have this:
First of all, Judaism was way before Islam and Christainity (5000 years of Judaism versus 2000 of christainity and 1500 of Islam) , Both Islam and Christianity use the Jewish bible and add stuff of their own, so yes christianity and Islam copy from Judaism. Messianics are NOT Jews because according to Jewish belief the messiah hasnt come yet and when he does some very specifc things will happen that didnt happen wen Jesus came.
god i wish i had more space on this one dont response yet im going to edit this a bit and add more stuff.

ok, i also got answers saying that according the the bible anyone who doesnt accept Jesus as his savior will be doomed, well isnt christianity contradicting itself on that one? christians believe in the Jewish bible as well which says that anyone who lives a rightous life will go to heaven (or something like that, heaven is actually a chrsitian thing so i guess be enlightened is the thing for Judaism- more like nirvana) .
ok for some good answers i got:
let god decide- good one. but it also states the truth that we cannot possibly know which religion is right if any.
another good one:
Jesus was a jew and is (according to christians ) in heaven so... yeah, speaks for itself.
also, when did Jesus become God , yet another contradiction of christianity (accepting Jesus as ur lord and savior)
i thought there was only one God...
ok so im tired of writing so one last one i thought was good:
jesus=jew- hitler=christian
very nice, although i think hitler was more of an atheist.

This isn't really a question, and somewhat violates the TOS, but I'm not going to report you because that would be mean.
In response to your response: I don't think anyone really believes that Messianics are Jewish apart from the Messianics themselves. They're basically tallis-wearing Christians.
An interesting site you should check out about this is jewsforjudaism.com
Islam doesn't use the Jewish Bible, which it regards as divinely originated but corrupted. The Qu'ran and the Torah differ on several important points; for example, in the Qu'ran, it was Ishmael that Abraham almost sacrificed. But Jews (and Christians) do go to Heaven in Islam, as they are 'People of the Book'.

Long question, long answer required!
I' back (90 minutes later, sorry about the delay).
1) What makes a person a Jew? Christians claim to be "sons of Abraham" by adoption. We claim to be an extension of Judaism. We recognize that Christianity is an extension of Judaism and, as such is much "younger".
2) Yes, we use the whole of the Jewish "bible" we worship the G-d of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. It forms our old testament. Islam only use Genesis. They use it up to the birth of Ishmael and worship the g-d of Abraham and Ishmael.
3) To me, Messianics are Christian. They are Jews too. They recognize Jesus as their Messiah (Christ, to use the Greek). Jews don't recognize Jesus as such but He can be found throughout the Torah (I think that includes all our Old Testament).testament) as a suffering saviour - typified by the Pascal Lamb.
4) You state that Jesus did not fulfill the prophecies made of the Messiah. WE believe that these prophecies will be fulfilled when He comes again.
Hope this goes somewhat to answering your questions.
Would love to have a face to face but this would probably be impossible. Located? Sydney, Australia.
To continue, some time later.
Just like being born in a hospital doesn't make you a nurse or doctor, being born in a Christian country doesn't make you a Christian. (Being born of Jewish parents doesn't make you a religious Jew - it's a choice.
Do Jews go to hell? Well, once again it's a choice. Have you ever tried to keep all the law? Impossible, you say. So did Jesus. Although He did not say 'don't keep the law', He did say ' Love god and love others. Do these and you keep all the law and prophets'.
Jesus being G-d is a completely different issue.
Well that's enough for two points (and hopefully 1o more). Look forward to seeing more of your questions.

The reap-lies of Jews, Xians, Muslims all seem to miss the mark on one important bible aspect: "respect of persons". Do a word study on that phrase and find the same thing in Old and New Testaments: it's not good (not Godly) to have respect of persons faith, be it Jewish, Christian, or Islamic flavored. Even Herodians knew that much about God & Son; Whether Law & Jesus or Grace & Christ: Matthew 22:16.
Also do a study on the will of God in Hosea 6:6 repeated in Matthew 9:13 as a go figure what it meaneth; You'll find it's also the same in the Old and New Testament, with the not sacrifice part being not then, not now, not ever.
As to your hellish question, well, let's first define conversion is from law to grace; whereby hell vanishes like the dead sea. So then hell is via the law, which not only imputes sin to all, but a death sting to all. So, let's not even go back there, but rather go on unto perfection, by leaving the principles behind.
(Hebrews: a mini bible itself, having the same conclusion)
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

WELL SAID :)
I'm getting so fed up with all this rubbish about messianics. Why can't people appreciate that 'messianic jews' are CHRISTIANS?
A person cannot claim to be 'Jewish' if they then support and preach a belief that directly contradicts Judaism. It's about as logical as claiming to be Catholic, and then asserting that the Hindu deities are what 'real Catholicism' is all about!
As to all the Christians who insist that the rest of us are going to 'hell'; hark, get you! Thank goodness, Judaism is far more forgiving and generous spirited; we are taught that EVERYONE has a place in heaven, no matter what their faith, as long as they are ethical.

I don't think Christianity thinks that Jews will go to hell. Christianity (speaking from a Catholic point of view) agrees that all who follow their consciences doing the good that is written by the creator in all hearts will be saved, by Christ, even though they don't accept it or realize it. This includes Jews, Muslims, African Traditionalists, Buddhists, Hindus and all people of good will. Following their consciences means also that they would be open to the message of Christ if they are honestly convinced by it leading them to profess the christian faith. This profession would only lead them into a more concrete and qualitatively higher practice than they had already began before--following the good that is in every person's heart.
Finaly I don't think the issue is which religion came first, but rather what its adherents do. Religion is humankind's search for God. God in several ways speaks to every culture revealing himself to them in order to bring about a union with himself. Let us ask more about what is the common root of all religions than ask about which is superior, older or messianic or not. I think this is a more progressive question

From the Christian point of view, i.e., the Bible, Jesus is the only thank you to heaven. although, the Jews are God's chosen human beings. I desire I knew extra approximately what that meant, different than that He chosen a Jewish kin line for Jesus, and someway, that tiny little united states consistently seems to do o.k. ultimately. Do i've got self assurance that Jews who don't have self assurance that Jesus is the Messiah will bypass to hell? merely positioned, sure.
