From your question, I would assume you are too young to be thinking of anyone as a boyfriend. First of all you are not mature enough to decide to have a boyfriend if all you do is compare him to your ex, which again, you sound too young to have. Second, if you do not have feelings for this boy, then why are you leading him on by hanging out with him all the time. If you do not care about him in that way, tell him and let him find someone who does. Stop being a player, and get back to your schooling, as it does seem to be lacking.

hmmm. from what you wrote you seem to be messing with this guy's mind in some ways. he is your b/f you say? what about him, then, that you liked/loved that made you decide to let him be your b/f in the first place? and now that he is it appears you no longer really want him?
when people decide they want to be someone's b/f or g/f there is usually something there all along that they liked/loved enough about that person to decide to want to be their b/f or g/f other wise it makes no sense to want to be their b/f or g/f in the first place...right? maybe its just me but i dont get it. >.<
and if you feel like he would be better off as a friend why aren't you telling him this. instead it seems like you're purposely playing with his mind because you see he likes you and all and yet, you dont want him but you're still remaining with him as his g/f. that is very cruel of you to do that to him so i would suggest that you break it off with him immediately before this guy develops even deeper feelings for you. do the right thing. good luck. :)

so why you playing him? Tell him how you feel so he can decide to be your friend or move on to another girl. It is best to be honest then to live a lie. He might be showing you some romantic feelings but if you see him as a friend tell him.

Judging by your typing and grammer, it seems as if you are 9 or 10? No offence if you are, but if you are, I suggest not dating. If you arent into kissing or anything, tell him and if he wont leave you alone, break up with him. Tell him you arent ready. And move on, simple as that. Good luck!
