Would you go for a 4 sylindas or 6 for a 2005 toyota camry

I would choose 4 because the 6 takes too much petrol? but does that mean the 4 is less faster car in its quality performance perhaps?

I would choose the 6 cylinder !! It will out perform the 4 cylinder in speed and can get close to the same fuel mileage. The plus side above that is you will not need to push as hard on the gas pedal to get the car to move like when getting on the highway.

Bigger is Better!!!! Ask Anyone.... wait, you just did!

4 takes less gas but there is no big difference between 4 and 6 in gas, 4 is easier to repair which means less labor charge. but 6 drives smoother, has more power and faster in take off. may be the best way is to test drive both of them and see which you will like better

Both engines are fine. Just watch out for the 6 speed transmission which has gotten some bad press lately. Consumer Reports just had an article on that.

Choose the 4, the tranny wont blow as easily. Plus If you add money under the hood and add a turbo or something... Then you will blow the 6 over the tracks

4 for better gas

6 for more power

IMHO, 4 is the way to go with gas prices these days
