No. Vast historical AND cultural evidence says he was not celibate. For example, he was given the title "Rabbi" in the New Testament by fellow Jews. "Rabbi" was a title that only married men could have.

Actually, in Jewish culture marriage was so important that you could not be any kind of leader unless you were married because the people would not listen to unmarried men. Jesus would not have been credible if he was not married.

The movie "The DaVinici Code" is of course a work of fiction, but it is based on real life findings. Many ancient works actually allude to Jesus being married but these records were hidden by the early Catholic church.

Mary Magdalene actually has her own gospel. Most copies of it were destroyed after Constantine took power in Rome.

He was the perfect sacrifice, with out blemish or sin. He took the sins of man and died on the cross.

People see a fictional movie and think it was true.

Jesus did not defile Himself or lay with a women. The 144,000 in the book of Revelation are not purer than Jesus. Jesus is the Holiestt of Holies.

Nope.
None of that "Da Vinci Code" business, but it is not out of the question for Jesus to have been married according to Jewish custom for a man of his age.

Yes I do. He had a special mission to accomplish here on earth. He had control over his emotions and did not persue women for marriage. This is something you and I do when we are aiming for the higher way. For example: when we marry we hold our self for our spouse only. Millions do it daily.

Yes, the bible mentions that he was only tempted by earthly temptations once, and sex was never mentioned as one of the temptations. This, of course, was very rare during his time, and he probably took a lot of criticism for not being married, which was the proper thing in those days.

I have no idea if he was or wasn't and i think if it was important the Bible would have said something about it.

I would find it stange though if he was married and no mention was made of his wife, the gospels, particularly Luke, paid a lot of attention to women and I would have expected them to mention it.

If you read the gospel of Peter there is a passage where it says something impressive that suggest that was Gay, I think that's why It wasn't added to the new testament.

This proves I don't know my Bible I would need to really study it to answer this question accurately and I'd advise you do the same instead of listening to answers of people who may or may not know. I really thought He was though before this question so I'm quite confused now.

I cannot say. I was not there and I certainly cannot speak for Jesus.

I don't remeber there being anything in the Bible where Jesus addressed celibacy for himself....but honestly, I haven't cracked open a Bible in decades.
