if im not allowed to have a boyfriend before 16 should i be able to hang out with them at least?
I know about STDS and getting pregnant, i am not planning on having sex and i do understand that actions have consequences.
I am 15 and I will be 16 in 2 months, should I atleast be able to hang out with guys friends?

whatever age!! there were lots of BF's GF's when i was in primary school even! They didn't even hold hands mind, it's just innocent social learning...

15 is the age they'll start having real BF's and at least 17 is the age they want to start sex, any sooner and they'll almost definatly regret it.

but if you ban them from having BF's when everyone else in their social groups do, they may not become as socialy adept. Holding them back there, will have knock on effect.

teach them morality, right and wrong, support them... These are more important than rules. But rules should be things like, in before dark, or if they're 16, in before 12 etc... they shouldnt be as constrictive and controling as... NO BF

16 is good. Before that they are too young and likely to not understand what the consequences are.

16 is the usual age set by parents to start dating. Its set this high because "rules are meant to be broken" and this low so kids won't be naive when they get into college w/o ever having dated.

well i think it should be 18 because you should enjoy your early years with your friends as much as you can and having a bf/gf will probably get in the way of that
