But in reality, they don't give a DAMN about you? My Spanish professor pretends to understand my disability but then goes behind my back & complains that I'm lazy & come to class when I want. Not true. I have medical documents to prove it & she doesn't wanna see it. & then the other students tried to butt in my business & throw my absences in my face & use it against me. I don't owe another student an answer for my absences-I was in the hospital because of a mental health issue & my professor is making my issues worse by being fake & evil.

She IS just pretending to be sympathetic because she wants to be known as a sympathetic and helpful person. In reality, she is a conniving witch. You DO NOT owe anyone else any explanation as to why you are not in school. Who the hell do these people think they are?

I ran into that same issue before, the best thing to do is to go to the HR department and tell them what is going on. There's no need to deal with this when you have other things going on in your life. The teacher needs to either be sympathetic or needs to be not. Either way, the way the teacher is acting is inappropriate, and the issue needs to be addressed. But for sure, do NOT give up on school. Once you finish, you will feel such a huge sense of pride in knowing that you completed something even with the problems that occurred.

Good luck!

What Pat M. said. I'm sure your school wouldn't want a harassment lawsuit on their hands.

Unfortunately, the world doesn't stop and wait for you just because you were in the hospital. Are you looking for a free handout just because you couldn't make it to class?
