From the Christian point of view, i.e., the Bible, Jesus is the only way to heaven. However, the Jews are God's chosen people. I wish I knew more about what that meant, other than that He chose a Jewish family line for Jesus, and somehow, that tiny little country always seems to do alright eventually. Do I believe that Jews who don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah will go to hell? Simply put, yes.

long question, long answer required! I' lower back (ninety minutes later, sorry with regard to the delay). a million) What makes someone a Jew? Christians declare to be "sons of Abraham" by utilising adoption. We declare to be an extension of Judaism. We comprehend that Christianity is an extension of Judaism and, as such is a lot "youthful". 2) sure, we use the full of the Jewish "bible" we worship the G-d of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. It kinds our previous testomony. Islam merely use Genesis. They use it as much as the delivery of Ishmael and worship the g-d of Abraham and Ishmael. 3) To me, Messianics are Christian. they are Jews too. They comprehend Jesus as their Messiah (Christ, to apply the Greek). Jews do no longer comprehend Jesus as such yet He might nicely be chanced on via the Torah (i think of that contains all our previous testomony).testomony) as a suffering saviour - typified by utilising the Pascal Lamb. 4) You state that Jesus did no longer fulfill the prophecies made from the Messiah. WE have self assurance that those prophecies would be fulfilled while He comes lower back. desire this is going rather to answering your questions. could want to have a head to head yet this could in all probability be impossible. placed? Sydney, Australia. To proceed, it sluggish later. merely like being born in a scientific institution does not make you a nurse or wellness care provider, being born in a Christian united states does not make you a Christian. (Being born of Jewish mothers and dads does not make you a non secular Jew - that's a decision. Do Jews bypass to hell? nicely, as quickly as lower back that's a decision. have you ever tried to maintain each and all the regulation? impossible, you assert. So did Jesus. whether He did no longer say 'do no longer save the regulation', He did say ' Love god and love others. Do those and you save each and all the regulation and prophets'. Jesus being G-d is a thoroughly diverse situation. nicely it quite is sufficient for 2 factors (and with a bit of luck 1o extra). watch for seeing extra of your questions.

Yes. They do not believe that jesus is the son of god, but only a wise teacher. Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me." That is pretty clear. I personally can't see how Jesus could have been a wise and respected teacher while spouting outrageous "lies" about being the son of God with the power to forgive the sins of the world. He also rose people from the dead and turned water into wine. His words and actions would never have earned him a reputation as a wise, eloquent teacher of religion who is also human. He would have been seen as a cult leader, wizard or lunatic, using his Stalin-like charisma (or magic) to command followers.

According to the Christian doctrine, anyone who does not accept Jesus as their personal savior will not receive the Kingdom of Heaven. It does not say anywhere that you will go to hell if you don't convert to Christianity. If you consider accepting Christ as Lord as converting, then I guess you could say you will not get to heaven, but there is no mention of going to hell in the bible.

Yes, some Christian people have insisted in this very forum that we Jews must 'embrace Jesus' in order to be 'saved'.

It is an extremely arrogant attitude. In contrast, Judaism teaches that we all have a place in heaven, if we live a 'righteous' life here on earth; it doesn't matter which religion a person follows.

PERPLEXED: 'messianics' are not Jewish. You can't be Jewish and also believe Jesus was the messiah, because this belief directly misrepresents and contradicts Judaism. Messianics are CHRISTIANS.

No. I am Christian and I don't believe I could tell who is going to go to hell or not. You see, that would be impossible to decipher.

Catholics (like myself) believe that if you are truly sorry for the sins you have committed (be it murder or kicking your dog) then you have the option of going to heaven.

It is a choice, you see.

If they do not except Jesus as Savior, they will die and go to hell just like everyone else. The Jewish Nation is God's chosen Nation in which He brought Jesus into the world and it will be the Nation where it all ends, when Jesus returns.

It depends on who you talk to. Some Christians believe that if you are a good person you will go to heaven, others think that if you don't believe in God you'll go to hell anyway. As none of us are God, or in the strictest of confidences with God, or have come back from heaven, we don't know what the truth is.
