Yes He does. That's where ours comes from. He wants us to be happy and laugh and just get silly sometimes. He knows what we are in our hearts and yes He can laugh at a clean joke, or something someone did to make someone laugh that is silly and goofy. I think God feels all of the feelings that are good.

Yes, He does! This has nothing to do with if God should be taken seriously, though. Everything He says is true. He put His Word above His name. God is love. Love is happy. Happiness leads to laughter.

Thing have happened, that would have me just sitting there asking questions in my head, so frustrated and confused. We know that God is in control. We don't understand everything, but when we trust in Him, we know that no matter how confusing a situation, He is taking care of it. So, at times, I just laugh within myself when I finally see HOW things work out. We have nothing to do wit the how because God takes care of the how. We never know how God is going to do what He said He is going to do, but we know that He is going to do it. So, when situations occur and connections are made, it's not a coincidence. It's God at work, patching up the gaps(well, what seemed like gaps to us, but He always knew how to turn it around), .. and so I sit & wonder and laugh because:
God will use who He wants to use, regardless of what WE think is best. (even somebody who was once an enemy)
God will tell us to do what He wants us to do, regardless of what WE think is best. (usually something that SEEMS to make no sense at all)
God will tell us what He has to say, regardless of what WE are doing or where we are. (always comforting words, even when from a stranger and/or through a dream)
I just trust in Him.

Given the professional background of most of Jesus' disciples, I detect some nice ironic humour in John 21v3~6.

Neither him or Jesus are portrayed as having humour in the bible, but I liked the portrayal of Jesus in the "passion of Christ" film where he is laughing with his mother, when he is doing his carpentry. Really warm hearted humour which I like to think he had.

YES.
one day i was driving down the road and was singing with a song on the radio that praises God. So i thought i sounded pretty good and I prayed and said how am i doing with the singing. I drove passed a skunk. I laughed and changed my pitch. Then sang some more, and asked God ," How about now?," and I drove passed another road kill skunk. That really got me laughing and I blame it on Him for the gifts he did not give me.

To quote Carlos Mencia:

"God wants you to laugh. God has a sense of humor. If you don't believe me, tomorrow just go to Walmart and look at people. GOD IS FUNNY!"

When Moses asked his name and he replied "I am" he was showing a bit of humor. He was also showing a little impatience with Moses effectively telling him to mind his own business.
