Hidu religion does NOT believe in many Gods. This is a wrong -Mis-Dis Information.Hindu Religion believes ONE and ONLY ONE Brahmam.(There is nothing equivalent ot Brahmam in other religions)--"Eka Eva Brahmam Satyam-Param Naasthi-Vipraa Bahudhaa Vadhanthi"=There is ONLY ONE brahmam -No Second one-Learned people caal brahmam by many NAMES--Brahmam is attributeless. When Brahmam descends down(Avathaaram) to one level below and has attributes like benev, protection etc,Brahmam is called asG-O-D=GOD (Eeswara) by some or Goddess(Eeswari) by others- a term which other religions use. The One and Only GOD,/Goddess when is a creator ,the NAME is Brahma/Braahmi -Protector Name is Vishnu / Vaishnavi--Supreme head is Siva/Sivae(the first name is that of God and the second name is that of Goddess. So please be sure that there are different NAMES and NOT different GODs. Whatever other religions have the Proof ,the same is applicable to Hindu religion also. .

They believe it has survived many "Epochs", or creations and dissolutions. Proof is always tricky in the Spiritual context. You can only prove something like that to yourself- It is called Yoga!
