I don't know about you, but I rank airport security 3rd behind military bases and power plants. So much for the claim that "they come here and do the jobs Americans won't do." Or, if that's true in this case, we've got a much bigger problem.

First of all, it is a large assumption to make that they have a mind to change. Of course they are not going to change their minds! They are not using their minds to reach their decisions.
Let us not forget the 9/11 terrorist were illegal immigrants as were the Fort Dix bombing conspirators and many others including murderers and child molesters.
Not only do the liberals want open borders to allow these people in they fight to keep them here.
An open border policy is bad for America and that is why the liberals embrace it.

I have to agree with the first answer. These people on both sides have an agenda. It is all driven by power, money they are the multi nationals they have no loyalty to any country just the bottom line.
Then there are those people who think everyone has a right to go anywhere they want in the world without rules. Those are the modern nomad society they have nothing to lose one way or the other. Then you have young Idealist group they envision we are all going to get together sing and dances and all just get along not a clue on reality lol.

The immigrants illegal and many legals are NOT coming today to do jobs American won't do, that went out with $.50 candy bars era.
They are not only here to work at jobs American won't do, they are coming to replace others, to take, to send money back home, to bring more here and to change our political systems by mass numbers.
The ones to blame are in Washington DC and the capitals of your states.
Any politician that tells you we can't stop it can't be control it is lying. Because that means they can do nothing, change anything control anything or STOP anything.

Anyone that votes these politicians back into office deserve what they get.
Remember "Politicians are just an extension of the people who put them in office to represent them".

As far as I'm concerned, the open amnesty business will never fly, no matter how hard my compatriots try to make a case for it.

Airport security is a big deal for many, however, illegal immigrants can be found in almost any field, not just those deemed secure.

It would have to get much worse before the La Razans and the pro-illegal Chamber of Commerce and the Dimocrat party stop their open borders and amnesty for all illegal alien policies. NYC is a sanctuary city for illegals and Gov. Shitzer wants to make NY into a sanctuary state, against the wishes of New Yorkers.

I am sure Darth Shitzer, the governor of NY is sad that his precious illegals got caught, as he was counting on giving them all drivers licenses, so they could register to vote, and vote overwhelmingly for Dimocrat politicians. There is a bill in the US House that would condemn states that give drivers licenses to illegal aliens, but I don't know if the bill has any teeth in it. It's probably just for show.

All experts agree... right or left.. that dirty bomb will be smuggled here and it will be thourgh one of our shipping ports that go uninspected 95% of the time. Bush refuses to budget the manpower required to do this. Why?

I hate to burst your bubble, but it's not just liberals who are promoting the open border policy. The liberals are being manipulated through their kindheartedness into supporting a globalist policy that will destroy America. We shouldn't scapegoat the immigrants either. Who wouldn't try to make a better life for their family? The policy and our failure to enforce immigration laws are to blame.
