Most unusual I've tasted was the fruit Durian.
It tasted like rotten onions. Yet, some people love it.

Druken Prawns (China)
Tainjin China, 'up scale' reasturant from Singapore, A glass bowl with a brown wine sauce is placed on the table. Translucent shrimp are dropped (live) into the sauce, and the lid is placed on the bowl.

I had a whole head of a goat with eyes and brain etc..
It is not unusual in some parts of the world, and suprisingly was very tasty, even the eyes..

I lived in Bolivia for two years and I would have to say the craziest thing I ate was cow utter. It is whiter than chicken ..same texture but different taste...kind of unique...very good though....oh yeah...I also ate llama jerky which was absolutely disgusting...they dry it out in the sun. They also eat "paloma" in Bolivia ...pigeon

I saw on some travel show where they prepared whole fruit bat (skin, fur, everything) and it's a real delicacy. My ex ate one of those lollipops with a bug in it. The wildest I've eaten is escargot (snails).

Tabbouleh. It's a Greek salad with tomatoes and a vinaigrette dressing. Hard to describe, but absolutely delicious!

When Iwas in Japan, I got some pickled egg plant and it was super good. I haven't found any in this country.
