Generally the English longbow, however all had their merits and flaws.

The english would be the most powerful but oof course it all dpends on the wood & string used to make the bow not its point of orgin. English is better though because of the wood they used came from their own back yard & it was the most flexible & stongest. Like Yew Trees or maybe a oak tree that was 10-40 years old not too soft not too hard. The best age for a tree is always different even with the same breed of tree.
