Before you get any vaccinations you need to have them checked for feline lukemia. Your vet can tell you about their vaccinations and they probably need to be wormed

The basic vaccine you will need to get is FVRCP which protects against Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Calicivirus Infection. Both are very easy to contract and the benefits of the vaccine are generally agreed to outweigh the risks.

You may be required by law to get a rabies vaccine too, and it's generally a good idea if the cat may be out doors or get out doors, as rabies cannot be cured once contracted.

You can ask the vet about other recommended vaccines for your cat, based on the area you live in and the lifestyle your cat will lead. You and your vet will need to weigh the benefits and risks and decide what is best for your cat. Vaccines are effective at preventing disease, but there are also risks of injection site sarcomas developing or your cat having a negative reaction to the vaccine, which can result in illness or death.

Have your vet test the new cats for viruses before you introduce them to your other pets.

Some great answers, I just want to add to get ALL the shots done up to date, sometimes indoor cats slip outside and they're at immediate risk then. Rather safe than sorry, eh?

don't forget the felv/fiv test..

if the cat isn't going outside, you don't need the leukemia shot.

Other than that, you've covered it all (well except neutering)
