That's like having an extra 2 meals a day calorie wise. My husband is an endocrinologist and the first thing he tells his overweight diabetic patients is DIET DRINKS ONLY. Even, I have switched to only non-calorie drinks and that was a helluva change for me. I'm not an overweight person, but the switch has allowed me to lose about 2 pounds a year without changing anything else (food or exercise) and I was only drinking 2 cans of Coke a day, not three 2liters! Imagine what would happen if you switched!

For the health of you and your family I strongly encourage you to try diet Pepsi - even if you have to mix it with regular Pepsi until you can stand the taste of diet by itself. Good luck.

First off it can cause diabetes. Than if you drink to much soda, regular or diet, you will pack on the pounds. It's very fattening. And please don't eat potato chips with it. Very bad for your health all around. You can also wind up with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I tried to tell my sister, who is overweight that to much is not good, but she insists diet soda can't hurt you. Just because it says diet doesn't mean to go all out with it. Drank in moderation it's just fine, but many people go overboard. I allow myself 1 to 2 cans a day, which is more than enough. I drink lots of water which is very good for you. My downfall is coffee. I drink 2-3 large mugs morning and evening. I'm trying to cut back on it though. So far it's going well. This morning I only had 2 cups. So, everything in moderation should keep you fit and healthy.

The worst of it might be dental problems, but damage to bone strength is a real growing problem with soda drinkers. 6 liters per day is way too much.

Wow... you've really tossed the towel in on life! While you're trying to carbonate your viens why don't you hang out behind your fav. eatery and dive through the dumpster while your at it! You should drink maybe a 2 liter a week.... and I think that is too much. Why don't you mix in a juice or something?
