Good point. Yet another point of hypocrisy for Christians, but when you ask them about it, it's your fault for not doing something... If good things were happening from us intervening then it would be the grace of god glory. BAH!

Oh, Xians are sooo deludeed! Don't they realize that if 'we' solved hunger/starvation by the end of the month, it would be b/c of human effort.
I saw posts that some Xians donate. Good for them. There are some Xians who, some who don't-same with every group imagineable. Again, humans would be the ones to stop it since it already exists. The question is, why did God let it exist in the first place? Shouldn't it be a special torture reserved for those such as Hitler?

we can sit here yelling and screaming about God not saving these poor kids, but what good will that do? we all need to get out and help. lots of people become upset because they feel God isnt saving enough people, or too many people are being diagnosed with diseases. BUT WE CAN CHANGE THAT, IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE JUST GOD. we can donate money, work at food shelters, or volunteer at numerous charities. we really dont have the right to complain about this, when we can make a difference ourselvs.

In Ethiopia there are kids dying everyday from starvation...Why don't the adults stop having them when they know the poverty and suffering they are going to undertake.No-one should think of having kids if the inevitable is going to happen.
I send money along with thousands of others but unfortunately we never get to see the difference(if any) that its making.
On the lighter side of things i think GOD is always out...I have prayed every night to win the lottery but i haven't won even a tenner for 4 years. Is this because GOD See's this as a sin as it is basically gambling???

wha??
don't you know that those kids did something in their past lives that made them sinners?
Mike:
You actually think that those kids going to Heaven automatically, after all that they suffered, makes it ok?
You think those kids would understand that explanation and still love a God that allows it to happen?
So heartless and delusional.
Opinionated:
are you serious? Africa, where most of these starving children live and die, is full of Christians.
Christianity and Islam are the major religions there.
So your foolishly saying that these Christians are turning away help from Christians. I'm sure you made that up to prove your point, which is incorrect.

Do you know the reason most of them die? Not because of lack of food. We throw away enough food in the US to feed the world. We grow enough food to feed the world.
Governments are waring with each other and food becomes the weapon of choice. Would they let you take in truck loads of food to the children in durfer? No, the UN tried that and the government said, "NO" They want them to get hungry for several reasons. ONe it brings them into submission to the present governmental powers. To weak to fight back and ready to obey to feed their familys. Secondly the government ceases the food and sells it to the ones who have money.
They are more concerned with making money then feeding people who don't have money.
The UN said, It will be impossible to feed the starving until they have a govenment that will allow us to feed them.
so the problem they said is not food it is bad government.

FACT Millions and millions of children dont die every day of starvation. God did create man with a free will and I have to wonder why you dont blame the parents of these children or the government where they live. If you know that people all around you are dying of starvation, why would you bring another child into the world? Is there any responsibility on their part?

there is no need for anyone to die of starvation in this world
and that is a fact
no matter whether you believe in God or not
we have enough to go round , those of us in richer countries have way more than enough
this world is in a mess because of man
because man is greedy , because of power hungry people who cannot share , because we have differences in classes
it is all disgusting
but it has nothing to do with God ... who lets face it , if he does exist gave us a world full of resources
wizjp ... what a wonderful site !!
thank you for the link xx

God is aware of the suffering of His children, much of it unjust. You have to understand that death is not the final solution that people think it to be. It is merely a passage from one form of life to another. Those that suffer unjustly, will be received into peace and glory where they can rest from their troubles and learn more of God and His plan. If God calls some of His children home early, it is of little matter to Him. He welcomes them back. There is purpose in what takes place here. Those responsible for the unjust suffering of His children will have to answer for their behavior at judgment time. They will have no excuse and His punishment that shall come down on them will be just.
