Well I cant speak for everyone but i have found that when i do things the way God shows me to do them, life gets better. Many people you may view as fortunate did not start life like that. Yes you have a choice whether you go to heaven or hell. It is based on giving your life to God and living before him. Now many people thinks that means perfection but if you were suppose to get it right all the time God would not have had to give us mercy. What that means is developing a relationship with God and allowing him to help you change your life and knowing he loves you enough to do just that. Even in the bible, most people who God use greatly started off in the worst of situations, however one thing they all had in common was their dedication to and love for God. King David, for ex. was a sheperd, left behind by brother who thought he was young and worthless-God used him to deliver a nation from a giant and you know he was not perfect because he had a man killed to get his wife and yet God called David ,"a man after his own heart. Freedom from sin for us is just simply asking God to live within you and asking him to forgive your sins and to help you live for him. Then develop a relationship with him as you would anyone who you want to know. Read baout him, talk to him, get to know him.

We all have the proclivity to Commit sin equally and one chooses to do the right things in life or not. that's what Free Will is. God does Know how we will choose to live our lives but does not intrude and leaves people to decide for themselves How to live Romans 1:32 and Romans 2:1-5.
Being Prosperous is no sin and there are many ways to prosper in wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
There is no harm in being Rich! In having money, one has to put it in Proper Perspective and not worship it...The Depression of the 1930's drove many to commit suicide, because that is what they trusted in and lost it all.
If you carefully read the Scriptures, some are rich to see if they will do the right things in life towards others less fortunate. Proverbs 28:11,20,21, Matthew 19:23,24 Psalm 62, Ecclesiastes 1:1-9.

No, we are NOT free from the sinfull nature when we are born, as David knew in:
Psalm 51:5 (New International Version)
5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
However EVERYONE has a chance of getting to Heaven:
John 3:16-17 (New International Version)
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The bible says we are born into sin. According to the bible there is none good and there is a whole list of people that will not make it to heaven, heck that list pretty much covers every human on the face of the earth. So much for the bible and heaven, looks like god likes being alone =)

God’s perfect will as the creator and King of this world and universe does not reflect in the disorders we see today such as hunger, death, sickness, natural disasters, or human sin. All the disasters we see today are because of the fall of men, not because God does not exist. The Lord’s perfect order when he first created everything was NOT as it is today. He created men HIS IMAGE this means he created us perfect, although, when Satan who is represented by the serpent in the book of Geneses (verse 3) tempted the woman to eat from the forbidden tree and the woman (Eve) ate from the tree and gave her husband (Adam) their eyes opened and they realized that they were naked; so they hid from the Lord, but since the Lord is omnipresent (being present everywhere at once) he found them. Although men disobeyed the Lord, we see in the book of John that he sent, his only son to earth to clean us form our sins. Jesus’ blood is a symbol of forgiveness. Even though we did not obey the Lord, he felt mercy for us and decided to give us a second change. The bible says that if we ask for forgives in Jesus’ name he will come into our lives and will give us eternal life. Your life could be sad right now, but the Lord is calling you because he has chosen you to give you a better life, the life you deserve. OH Father! I ask you to come into this people’s life and make them new with a touch of your Holy Spirit Amen.

God sees us equally in the spiritual way. When He sees us He sees Jesus Christ. Having more or less materialistic things isn't what gets you in Heaven, it's your acceptance of Jesus Christ in your heart that opens those gates. Even commiting sin won't get you condemned to Hell, it's rejection of Jesus that will condemn you to Hell. No one is perfect and we all sin, whether it's a major or minor sin...a sin is a sin, just repent and go on. Jesus has already paid the price you just need to ask for forgiveness and accept Him. God Bless

Think of the American Indians before the Europeans migrated to America. There was absolutely no way that they could have known about Christianity. And that being the case it would have been impossible for them to get to heaven.

right and wrong is a point of view........ heaven is a myth..... god doesnt have eyes..... what is fortunate? wealth? money doesnt make you happy.... happiness is an emotion. emotions are a chemical reaction in the brain. the human body is governed by genes. nothing we do in our lives will effect your body when it dies. when you die your body begins to decompose. the invisible force that is observing is one big whole. never separate and always in everything. if your body has been put in the ground and decomposed it cannot also have an invisible form that looks like you and does human things like going to heaven..

People are more fortunate because they chose a different path in life than others but that doesn't mean we are not equal. God loves all of us no matter what race, skin color, rich, poor. God loves us ALL!!!!

We are all equal in the kingdom of God, we would have to live in a communist country to all be equal here, and we still would not be equal. Think about what equal really means...
